2020 – Bombers Baseball Club Fall Clinic

5 Fridays –  9/18/20; 9/25; 10/2; 10/9; 10/16

• Time:                6pm to 9pm
• Location: Dutchess Stadium: 1500 Rt. 9D Wappingers Falls, N.Y. 12590
• Cost: $250 for non-Bomber players (included in all full-time Bombers fall ball player fees)

Details:                        Each week over the 3 hour clinic, we will focus mostly on position defense and team defense.  Players will be broken up into groups by position (IF, OF, P, C) and work on improving knowledge and performance in those specific areas.  Defensive alignment and other standard defensive plays will be covered.  Proper base running/base stealing will also be taught.  If time allows, players will get to hit also either live and/or in the cage.

Examples of position specific work

• IF – DP’s, bunt defense, overall proper foot, glove, arm positioning
• OF – Cut-offs, proper angles, crow hops
• P – Fielding the position, slide step, holding runners on
• C – Blocking, foot work, “POP” times

• 60 player max
• Free parking. Parent/Fan admission $5
• Spikes ARE allowed on the all turf field
• Any HS approved bat can be used
• Social distancing/ masks for all Fans, coaches and players not on the field are required
